Music Video for Ketnet

We help brands create impactful and engaging video content.

The Challenge

Ketnet gave us full carte blanche to create a music video with Gloria Monserez for a single aimed at sparking awareness around cancer among young kids. The challenge was to bring a difficult story towards a very young target audience.

Approach

We were determined to include quite a lot of kids in the film, so we worked together with Kom op tegen Kanker to cast kids with cancer so they would be represented in the music video.

In this film we tell the story of a bunch of kids who go on summer camp with a bus. Kom op tegen Kanker organizes yearly summer camps adapted for kids with cancer. So we wanted to emphasize the joy of these activities. To make it more dreamy, we opted for a very colourful vintage bus with a charismatic bus driver.

Furthermore we wanted to create a high paced dynamic world in the film with a multi media approach. We opted for the usual cinematic camera but also added different perspectives with an FPV drone and by using camcorders. On top of that we transformed the drawings from Gloria into fun animated designs.

“DWARS houses a fantastic mix of talent and enthusiasm which made the collaboration go smoothly. DWARS understood our vision perfectly and turned it into a beautiful music video that impressed.”

TV Commercial

We made an additional tv commercial to promote the campaign for Kom op tegen Kanker. We used the elements from the music video as the backdrop for this commercial. This way the music video and commercial are widely recognisable among both parents and kids.
